We would like to kindly inform you that the recruitment for visiting scientific staff from foreign universities for short-term research stays in 2024 at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin in Lublin has begun.
We cordially invite the staff of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin to spread the word about the recruitment among friendly foreign staff/institutions/universities.
The arrival of employees of foreign universities or institutions conducting scientific research may be applied for by employees of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin - academic teachers or non-academic teachers included in the number N in the scientific discipline subject to evaluation of the quality of scientific activity.
The purpose of the arrival may be to establish or sustain scientific cooperation, in particular by conducting joint scientific research and initiating project activities.
Funding for internships is provided thanks to funds received by the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin to prepare for the IDUB program. The priority of the "Excellence Initiative – Research University " (IDUB) program is to support universities that will strive to become research universities and be able to compete effectively with the best academic centers in Europe and the world.
The duration of short scientific stays, must be min. 7 days, max. 14 days (excluding travel days).
The stay must be completed by December 31, 2024.
Recruitment of applications is carried out on a continuous basis.
The supervisor of a scientist from a foreign university submits a set of documents to the International Relations Office:
- an application for inviting a guest from abroad on which there are only 2 signatures, i.e. the person who invites and the Dean of the Faculty/Director
- the application for advance payment (editable version)
The academic supervisor of the scientifics within 14 days after the end of the stay shall be obliged to calculate the costs of the stay.
