Dear students - welcome to KUL

The long-awaited moment for you - the start of your studies - is approaching. In order to make the most of this special time and make it a time to remember, we have prepared for you an essential guide for the first days of the 2024/2025 academic year.

For the second time, the new academic year is an opportunity for us to join forces with the other universities of Lublin. We would therefore like to invite you to the official inauguration, organised by the Union of Higher Education Institutions in Lublin. We will begin with a joint prayer in the Lublin Archcathedral, where a solemn Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Then, together with representatives of the entire academic community, we will go in a rector's procession. We will proceed to the Lublin Philharmonic Hall, where at 12.00 an eminent linguist, Prof. Jerzy Bralczyk, will deliver an inaugural lecture entitled ‘Cooperation in Language. On the concept and action'.
