Inauguration of the Consortium of Catholic Law Schools

The international Consortium of Catholic Law Schools which was initiated by the University of Notre Dame in the USA was held at KUL. The event was attended by representatives of research centers from Hungary, Slovenia, Ukraine, Spain and the United States.

These are, among others, Notre Dam Law School, Francisco de Vitoria University, Pázmány Pèter Catholic University. As emphasized by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Canon Law and Administration of KUL, prof. Andrzej Herbet, the setting up of the consortium is to tighten cooperation that covers teaching and research conducted by Catholic universities.

During the session, lawyers-scientists shared their observations on the functioning of the law faculty at Catholic universities, reflected on the institutional goals and strengths of law schools located in Catholic academic centers.
