Prof. Annamaria Cacchione „Indire - National Italian Reserch Institute Fot Education, Italy"

A series of lectures led by Prof Annamaria Cacchione, a renowned Italian researcher from the National Italian Institute of Educational Research (INDIRE), will take place at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin from 5-9 May 2025. The meetings are being held as part of a course entitled “More than words: The power of language from language acquisition to AI generative models”.

Prof Cacchione specialises in linguistics and the didactics of Italian as a foreign language, and her research work focuses on adult education, particularly in the context of the development of language skills of migrants and adults with diverse cultural backgrounds. The lectures will take place in various rooms of the KUL building (C-1039, C-220, C-618) from 13:20-15:50 and are open to PhD students and anyone interested in the topics of language, its role in the learning process and the development of modern AI models.
