Rev . Krzysztof Kinowski, an assistant professor at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (Department of Biblical Philology and Intertestamental Literature in the Institute of Biblical Sciences), a guest professor at Gdańsk Diocesan Seminary and the Theological Institute of the Archdiocese of Gdańsk (affiliated to the University of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński in Warsaw), a member of the Association of Polish Biblical Scholars, former Rector of Gdańsk Diocesan Seminary, a priest of the Archdiocese of Gdańsk.

1999-2005: Philosophical and theological studies at Gdańsk Diocesan Seminary.

2001-2004: Theological studies at the University of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński in Warsaw, MA

in biblical theology, Thesis: Desire of Death and Overcoming It on the Basis of the Text of

1 Kgs 19:1 18 in the Context of the Contemporary Problem of Euthanasia

2007-2011: Specialized studies at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome.

2008-2009: Specialized archaeological and linguistic studies at Rothberg International School

the Hebrew University of Jerusalem) and at the branch of the Pontifical Biblical Institute in

2011: Obtained degree: Licentiate in Biblical Studies (SSL) Dissertation: The Meaning and

Function of wayya‘al bəḵol-hā’āreṣ in 2 Kgs 17:5

2011-2012: Preparatory year for the so called lectio coram at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in

Rome

2012: Obtaining an academic title: Candidate for a Doctorate ( candidatus ad doctoratum

2012-2016 : Specialized studies at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome in the field of

ancient languages such as Akkadian, Aramaic and Ugaritic, as well as in the history, culture

and religion of the ancient Near East, especially Mesopotamia

2017: Obtain ed degree : Doctor of Biblical Sciences ( Dissertation: The Meaning of

Bloodshed in 2 Kgs 21:16, 24:3 4 in the Context of the Fall of Judah. Nostrification of the

academic title by the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań in accordance with Polish law
