CEL PROJEKTU

Celem projektu jest wsparcie KUL w zakresie obsługi studentów i kadry zagranicznej.

Cel zostanie osiągnięty poprzez realizację następujących działań:

-szkolenia z języka dla osób bezpośrednio zajmujących się obsługą studentów i kadry zagranicznej, z uwzględnieniem słownictwa specjalistycznego, w celu poprawy ich umiejętności porozumiewania się w języku angielskim

-szkolenia z komunikacji międzykulturowej, w celu zrozumienia i uwrażliwienia na osoby odmienne kulturowo

-szkolenie dla pracowników administracji na temat ich roli w procesie umiędzynarodowienia Uczelni

-indywidualne spotkania tutoringowe z zakresu internacjonalizacji szkolnictwa wyższego

-tłumaczenia niezbędnych dokumentów wewnętrznych Uczelni związanych z przyjmowaniem i obsługą studentów i kadry zagranicznej

-opracowanie informatora/przewodnika dla zagranicznych studentów, doktorantów i pracowników naukowo-dydaktycznych przyjeżdżających na KUL oraz ulotki/mapki ułatwiającej poruszanie się po campusie KUL

-wydarzenia integracyjne, min. takie jak Dzień Międzynarodowy, warsztaty bożonarodzeniowe, wyjście do Muzeum Wsi Lubelskiej/zwiedzanie
Centrum Spotkania Kultur w Lublinie, wyjazd do Kazimierza Dolnego

The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin has received funding for the project

"Supporting the potential of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) in the field of service to foreign students and staff".

 

PROJECT PERIOD: 01.05.2022 to 30.04.2023

 

PROJECT OBJECTIVE

The goal of the project is to support KUL in the field of service to students and foreign staff.

The objective will be achieved through the implementation of the following activities:

-language training for those directly handling foreign students and staff, including specialized vocabulary, in order to improve their communication skills in English

-training in intercultural communication, with the aim of understanding and sensitizing culturally different people

-training for administrative staff on their role in the internationalization of the University

-individual tutoring meetings on internationalization of higher education

-translation of necessary internal documents of the University related to the admission and service of foreign students and staff

-development of an information guide/guide for foreign students, doctoral students and research and teaching staff coming to the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, as well as a leaflet/map making it easier to get around the University campus

-integration events, such as International Day, Christmas workshops, going to the Lublin Village Museum/visiting the Center of Meeting of Cultures in Lublin, trip to Kazimierz Dolny
