Research services:

1. Determination of anions: fluorides (F^-), chlorides (Cl^-), bromides (Br^-), nitrates (III) NO₂^-, nitrates (V) (NO₃^-), phosphates (PO₄^3-), sulphates (SO₄^2-) in aqueous solutions by ion chromatography. We perform the determination of one selected anion, several or all of them.

2. Examination of composite materials by Raman spectroscopy - qualitative analysis, determination of sample homogeneity.

Equipment:

DIONEX ICS-1100 Ion Chromatograph – for the determination of anion content, necessary amount of aqueous sample- approx. 0,8-1,0 mL (up to 3 repetitions of the analysis).

Renishaw's InVia Raman spectroscope - for surface examination of materials, identification of substances, qualitative analysis of solids, powders. The instrument is equipped with argon (514 nm) and diode (785 nm) lasers, two CCD and EMCCD detectors and a set of 5x, 20x, 50x, and 100x lenses. Measurements can be taken in the range 150 – 3200 cm^-1.
