A student from the Catholic University of Lublin at an elite training in Brussels
Emil Jagielski, a student of international relations in English, has been selected as an EU Career Ambassador for the 2024/2025 academic year! He will join a group of young people who will participate in a training course in Brussels.
This is a great honor, as only a few students from Poland have this opportunity. In addition to the training in Brussels, fully funded by the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO), together with other ambassadors from all universities in Poland, he will benefit from training at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Beginning in October 2024, Emil will promote to students at the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) opportunities for internships and jobs in EU institutions.
For several years, the KUL Career Office has participated in the EPSO and MFA program, identifying candidates for the role of EU Career Ambassador. This gives students a chance to gain valuable experience and develop their careers in European institutions. EU Career Ambassadors have the opportunity to learn what it is like to work in EU institutions. They network with students from all over Europe and gain professional experience in public speaking, marketing and HR. They take part in preparatory training and receive assistance from a trainer throughout the program. They also establish contact with senior officials of EU institutions.
